Head of Business Services (EBS)

About the role

The Head of Business Services (EBS) provides strategic direction and operational leadership for all support functions that enable Ecobank Ghana’s core banking activities to run efficiently, safely and in compliance with regulatory standards. Reporting to the Country & Regional Head, Transformation & Operations, the role works closely with Finance, HR, Compliance, Legal and Risk teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan for Facility Management, ensuring day‑to‑day operations are efficient and aligned with business needs.
• Oversee Realty Services, Protocol Services, Transport Services, Procurement, Insurance, Records Management and Corporate Security across the bank’s network.
• Manage vendor relationships, service contracts and large budgets, ensuring value for money and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct periodic inspections, identify maintenance risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with external regulators, contractors and internal stakeholders to maintain high service‑level standards.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in facilities, operations or business services within a large organization or banking environment.
• Strong strategic planning, budget management and risk mitigation capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
