Head of Recruitment – Manufacturing Sector

About the role

The Head of Recruitment will lead talent acquisition for a manufacturing organization, shaping strategy, building pipelines and ensuring the right talent is hired to support growth. This senior position reports to senior leadership and oversees both factory and corporate hiring.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute end‑to‑end recruitment strategies aligned with business objectives and workforce planning.
• Manage full‑cycle hiring for production, engineering, quality, supply chain and administrative roles, including senior and critical positions.
• Lead and coach the internal recruitment team, set KPIs and monitor performance.
• Oversee external partners such as agencies, headhunters and labor suppliers, ensuring effectiveness and compliance.
• Design and run campus, apprenticeship and early‑talent programs with universities and technical institutes.
• Strengthen employer branding through job fairs, recruitment events and talent marketing.
• Analyse recruitment metrics (time‑to‑fill, cost‑per‑hire, retention) and use data‑driven insights to improve processes.
• Ensure all hiring activities comply with labor laws and internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 8–15 years of HR/talent acquisition experience, with at least 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading recruitment teams in large‑scale or multi‑site operations.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing workforce structures and labor‑law compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS).
• Ability to work with HR analytics tools for data‑driven decision making.
