Head Office Accountant

About the role

Form Ghana Limited is seeking a highly skilled Head Office Accountant to oversee financial operations at its Sunyani headquarters and lead the data protection and compliance framework.

Key responsibilities

• Manage forex movements, statutory payments (WHT, PAYE, VAT, SSF), petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare weekly/monthly cash updates, asset register, year‑end financial reports and support audit processes.
• Process invoices, payments, permanent payroll, and consolidate payroll for all staff.
• Supervise the HQ Accounts Assistant and manage intercompany accounts, external loans, salary advances, and insurance policies.
• Monitor budget versus actual expenditure and alert management to variances.
• Lead Form Ghana’s Data Protection Programme, draft policies, train staff, ensure certification, and liaise with the NCA.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree/HND in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Member of ICAG, ACCA or CIMA and Certified Data Protection Supervisor.
• Valid NHIS Card, Ghana Card, SSNIT Number; driver’s licence (Class B) is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Ghana tax and pension regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Experience with forestry information systems.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and supervisory abilities.
