Health and Safety Supervisor

About the role

Keda Ghana Ceramics Company Limited is seeking a Health and Safety Supervisor to lead safety initiatives across its manufacturing plant. The role involves implementing policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with Ghanaian labour and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
• Carry out regular safety inspections, risk assessments and audits.
• Investigate incidents, produce detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training, inductions and awareness programmes for all staff.
• Maintain accurate safety records, documentation and compliance registers.
• Support emergency response planning, drills and liaison with regulatory bodies during inspections.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in safety management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Ghana safety regulations and international standards.
• Professional certification such as NEBOSH or IOSH is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities.
