Heavy Duty Mechanic

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to maintain and repair a fleet of trucks, loaders, and other heavy‑duty equipment. You will work independently to ensure all machinery operates safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy‑duty vehicles and equipment, including trucks and loaders.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, hydraulic, braking, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults without supervision.
• Replace faulty parts and verify that equipment meets safety standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and accurately record maintenance activities.
• Respond to breakdowns and execute emergency repairs as needed.

Required profile

• Technical or vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience maintaining heavy‑duty vehicles or equipment.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and vehicle electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair faults independently and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with brands such as HOWO, Sinotruk, CAT is an advantage.
