Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience through immaculate cleanliness and visual standards onboard. This role requires strong hospitality, communication, and organisational abilities to ensure premium service is consistently delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness.
• Lead, train, and develop supervisors and crew members, maintaining a positive work environment.
• Manage inventory, budgeting, and cost‑containment initiatives related to cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, chemical handling protocols, and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and implement quality improvements.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of progressive housekeeping managerial experience, preferably in an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise ship.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety standards, and talent assessment.
• Familiarity with human‑resources policies and financial planning.
