HR Operations Support Specialist

About the role

The HR Operations Support Specialist will capture and manage HR operational inputs such as timekeeping, workforce data, and employee lifecycle events. This role ensures data integrity and supports accurate HR processing, reporting, and service delivery at the Obuasi Gold Mine site.

Key responsibilities

• Support safe work practices, incident reporting and compliance with OHS and environmental requirements.
• Execute operational HR activities in line with legal standards and payroll‑related deadlines.
• Capture, maintain and update employee, time‑and‑attendance, shift and HR system data.
• Assist core HR processes including onboarding, off‑boarding, recruitment, training, performance management and workforce planning.
• Provide support on employee relations matters such as grievances, investigations, disciplinary processes and exit interviews.
• Contribute to employee engagement, talent management, diversity & inclusion and wellbeing initiatives.
• Support regional or corporate HR initiative implementation as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Relevant HR qualification or social science discipline.
• Experience in an HR operational support role, preferably in an operations‑based environment.
• Exposure to multiple HR disciplines including industrial relations, training, remuneration and staffing.
• Knowledge of labour laws and regulations applicable to the mining industry is advantageous.
