About the role
We are looking for a dynamic and legally‑savvy Human Resources Supervisor to lead our HR function in Ghana. The role will drive recruitment, employee relations and learning initiatives while ensuring full compliance with Ghanaian labour legislation and our global standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute recruitment strategies, manage end‑to‑end hiring, negotiate offers and prepare contracts in line with the Ghana Labour Act (Act 651).
- Oversee onboarding and induction programmes to integrate new employees smoothly.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, handling grievances, disciplinary actions, performance management and conflict resolution.
- Provide guidance on company policies and Ghanaian labour law, ensuring consistent application and legal compliance.
- Monitor legislative changes (e.g., Persons with Disability Act, Data Protection Act) and update policies accordingly.
- Conduct training needs analyses, develop and deliver learning programmes, and evaluate their impact.
- Develop, implement and review HR policies and administer day‑to‑day HR administration.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an HR generalist or supervisor, preferably within the Ghanaian market.
- Strong knowledge of the Ghana Labour Act (Act 651) and related regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Hands‑on approach with the capacity to manage multiple HR functions simultaneously.
