Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead all HR functions for a growing organization in Accra. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on building a positive workplace culture, driving employee engagement, and supporting business growth through strategic people initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives and workforce planning.
• Partner with executive leadership on talent acquisition, succession planning, and change‑management initiatives.
• Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding, and talent pipeline development.
• Design and manage performance management, compensation, and benefits programs.
• Handle employee relations, engagement surveys, and conflict resolution.
• Identify training needs and deliver learning and development programs, especially for regulated insurance and pensions operations.
• Ensure compliance with Ghana Labour Laws and industry regulations; maintain accurate HR records and policies.
• Coordinate payroll, HR systems, and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• Professional HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, IHRMP or equivalent) is required.
• Strong knowledge of Ghana labour legislation and compliance best practices.
• Proven ability to lead employee relations, performance management and change initiatives.
