Industrial Electrician – Install, Maintain & Troubleshoot Electrical Systems

About the role

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical systems and equipment to ensure reliable operation and minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and test electrical machinery, control panels, wiring, motors, switches and related components.
• Diagnose faults, perform corrective and preventive maintenance, and replace defective parts.
• Install and maintain motors, starters, contactors, relays, sensors and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, automated control panels and electrical safety systems.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, ensure proper earthing, insulation and protection, and respond to emergency breakdowns.
