Internal Audit Lead / Specialist

About the role

The Internal Audit Lead / Specialist will oversee the implementation of internal controls, risk management and governance across financial, operational and IT domains for a leading cement producer.

Key responsibilities

• Drive internal audit engagements in line with professional standards and the company’s audit programme.
• Develop and execute the annual risk‑based audit plan, including financial, operational and IT audits.
• Lead audit reviews, prepare reports, and monitor implementation of recommendations.
• Conduct forensic investigations into suspected fraud and provide litigation support.
• Oversee IT audit activities, including infrastructure, data protection and application security reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or related field; professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIA.
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, internal control frameworks and risk assessment.
• Excellent report writing, supervisory and crisis management skills.
