Issuing Officer (HWf)

About the role

The Issuing Officer is responsible for managing the issuance of materials, items, and documents, ensuring accurate records and timely fulfillment of internal requests.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and process requests for materials, items, or documents before issuing.
• Maintain accurate records of all items issued, returned, and pending.
• Check stock levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.
• Inspect items for quality, quantity, and compliance before issuing.
• Coordinate with departments to fulfill material or document requirements promptly.
• Maintain an organized storage area for efficient retrieval and issuance.
• Report shortages, damages, or irregularities to supervisors or management.
• Ensure safe handling of sensitive or high‑value items.
• Provide customer service to staff or clients requesting items or documentation.
• Monitor and enforce FIFO/FEFO methods to ensure proper stock rotation.

Required profile

• A degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field is an advantage.
• Honest, reliable, and responsible in handling company property.
• Strong sense of integrity and compliance with company policies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record‑keeping.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple requests.
• Familiarity with issuing, receiving, or stock control processes.
• Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, logistics, or a similar administrative role is preferred.
