About the role
The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat is offering a short‑term internship for final‑year university students to support its IT, digital application and digital policy initiatives. Interns will gain hands‑on experience in an international environment while contributing to the Secretariat’s work on trade facilitation across Africa.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in translating working documents between English and French on a variety of subjects.
- Provide interpretation support during meetings, audiences and discussions.
- Support digital application projects and contribute to policy‑related research tasks.
- Collaborate with corporate functions of the Secretariat on assigned projects.
Required profile
- National of an African Union member state and resident in Ghana.
- Final‑year student enrolled full‑time in a relevant programme.
- Strong command of both English and French.
- Motivated, analytical and able to work in a multicultural team.
