IT Support Officer – CCTV Systems

About the role

Rafimex Company LTD, a leading FMCG distributor in Ghana, is seeking an Information Technology Support Officer to manage and maintain its CCTV network across multiple branches in Accra and the Tema region.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily online/offline status of CCTV cameras and recorders across all branches.
• Troubleshoot camera, NVR/DVR, and network connectivity issues remotely.
• Check storage reports, track hard‑drive usage and arrange replacements for near‑full or failing devices.
• Review CCTV footage when required and report incidents to management.
• Coordinate installations, repairs and upgrades of CCTV equipment at branch sites.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on system health, downtime and incidents.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of all cameras, recorders and storage devices per branch.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with CCTV setup, installation and troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of IP cameras, NVR/DVR systems and remote viewing software (e.g., Hikvision, Dahua).
• Basic networking understanding (IP addressing, routers, switches, PoE).
• Strong reporting skills and proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Organised, reliable, able to work independently across multiple sites and handle confidential footage responsibly.
