Junior Accountant – Ghana Project

About the role

Hari Agro Industries / HAI is seeking a Junior Accountant to support its Ghana Project in the Volta Region. The role involves day‑to‑day accounting tasks, documentation, reconciliations and basic financial reporting. It is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of experience or fresh graduates with strong accounting knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries and financial records.
• Assist with bank, vendor and customer reconciliations.
• Support invoice processing, payment recording and expense documentation.
• Help prepare basic financial reports and audit‑related documents.
• File bills, vouchers, receipts and supporting documents in an organized manner.
• Coordinate with internal teams for accounting and payment follow‑ups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience preferred; fresh graduates with relevant knowledge are welcome.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with the finance team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP or Zoho Books.
