Junior Program Officer – Resource Mobilization (AfCFTA)

About the role

The Junior Program Officer will support the coordination, monitoring and implementation of resource mobilisation plans for the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) programme. Based in Accra, the role ensures alignment with standards, avoids duplication and strengthens partnerships to secure sustainable funding.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and track the implementation of resource mobilisation work plans and report on progress.
• Support the review, documentation and continuous improvement of mobilisation frameworks.
• Coordinate the development, updating and implementation of mobilisation plans across programmes.
• Liaise with monitoring and evaluation teams to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Facilitate information sharing, avoid duplication and promote effective internal coordination.
• Assist capacity‑building initiatives for State Parties, including structured financing dialogues.
• Maintain inter‑departmental relationships to promote coherent funding support.

Required profile

• University degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Economics, Statistics, Development Studies, Demography, Public Finance or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in resource mobilisation, programme coordination or a similar field.
