About the role
As a Lab Technician at Shalina Diagnostics Ghana, you will provide medical laboratory services and support patient care through good laboratory practice and quality assurance.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out routine and special laboratory tests and provide coverage in diagnostic areas as needed.
- Perform technical work within acceptable turnaround times following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Document and maintain accurate records to ensure good laboratory practice.
- Maintain equipment to required standards and implement internal quality control measures.
- Assist in research, evaluation of new techniques and laboratory audits.
Required profile
- Medical laboratory science qualification (Diploma, Certificate, or Degree).
- At least 2.2 years of relevant experience.
- Good standing with the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC).
Required skills
- Routine and specialized laboratory testing.
- Quality control implementation.
- Equipment maintenance and calibration.
