Live-In Farm Operator – Mushroom & Moringa (Kasoa)

About the role

This is a full‑time, live‑in position on a new family‑owned farm in Kasoa, Ghana. You will work hands‑on to produce oyster mushrooms and, as the farm expands, cultivate moringa trees. The role is ideal for someone with practical farming experience who enjoys independent, on‑site work.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilise substrate, inoculate mushroom bags and manage the grow room (humidity, hygiene, ventilation).
• Harvest, weigh, dry and store mushrooms while keeping simple daily records.
• Plant, water and harvest moringa as the farm develops.
• Maintain the farm premises clean, secure and productive.
• Send daily photo updates via WhatsApp and receive payment through Mobile Money.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on crop‑farming experience with verifiable photos and two contactable references.
• Possession of a Ghana Card, a smartphone with WhatsApp and basic record‑keeping ability.
• Honest, reliable, physically fit and able to follow a written daily routine independently.
• Willingness to live full‑time on‑site in Kasoa.
