Local-Language Content Specialist (Boafo Voice Guidance)

About the role

The Local-Language Content Specialist (Boafo Voice Guidance) is a full‑time, hybrid position based in Accra. You will develop, refine, and maintain local‑language content for the Boafo Voice Guidance platform, ensuring clarity, cultural relevance, and user‑friendly navigation.

Key responsibilities

• Create and edit voice guidance scripts and adapt them to multiple Ghanaian languages.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to test voice guidance flows.
• Review user feedback and continuously improve content quality.
• Support broader localization efforts and maintain terminology consistency.
• Contribute to documentation that helps users understand AI‑driven guidance tools.
• Participate in regular team meetings in Accra while balancing onsite and remote work.

Required profile

• Strong skills in translation and language services with ability to adapt content across local languages.
• Excellent communication and interpreting abilities for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Proficient writing skills for clear, concise, culturally appropriate scripts.
• Fluency in English and at least one widely spoken Ghanaian language (e.g., Twi, Ga, Ewe, Hausa).
• Experience with content development for digital or voice‑based platforms is an advantage.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setting (onsite in Accra and remote).
• Relevant diploma or degree in Linguistics, Communication, Translation, or related field preferred.
