Local-language Content Specialist (Boafo Voice Guidance)

About the role

The Local-language Content Specialist for Boafo Voice Guidance is a full‑time, hybrid position based in Accra. You will create, refine and maintain voice‑guided content in multiple Ghanaian languages, ensuring it is clear, culturally relevant and easy to navigate.

Key responsibilities

• Write and edit scripts for the Boafo Voice Guidance platform, adapting them to local languages such as Twi, Ga, Ewe or Hausa.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to test voice flows and incorporate user feedback.
• Maintain terminology consistency across all language versions and support broader localization efforts.
• Document content guidelines to help users understand AI‑driven voice guidance tools.

Required profile

• Strong translation and language service skills with ability to adapt content accurately across local languages.
• Excellent communication and interpreting abilities for cross‑functional teamwork.
• Fluency in English and at least one widely spoken Ghanaian language.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Linguistics, Communication, Translation or related field (preferred).
