Mathematics Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to provide quality instruction to students from Grade 3 up to Senior High School in Spintex, Accra & Tema Region. The role focuses on developing strong mathematical knowledge, problem‑solving abilities, and confidence in learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well‑structured mathematics lessons aligned with grade‑level needs.
• Explain mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Prepare lesson plans, exercises, learning materials, tests, and assessments.
• Assess and monitor students' academic progress and identify areas needing additional support.
• Encourage logical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem‑solving.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning abilities.
• Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate performance records.
• Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student development when required.
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and supportive classroom environment.
• Participate in meetings, educational programmes, and school activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Relevant teaching qualification or certification preferred.
• Previous experience teaching mathematics is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics and effective teaching methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience and ability to work effectively with students.
• Organizational and classroom‑management abilities.
• Professionalism and a genuine interest in supporting student development.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary range: 2,500‑4,000 Ghanaian cedis per month.
• Working hours: 8 am – 2 pm.
• On‑site teaching environment in Spintex.
