Media and Communication Consultant for EMPLOY Project

About the role

The World University Service of Canada (WUSC) is seeking an experienced Media and Communication Consultant to deliver a gender‑sensitive multi‑media package for the EMPLOY project in Ghana. This is a remote consultancy supporting seven regions and reporting directly to the Project Director.

Key responsibilities

• Design, produce, and deliver multimedia content (videos, graphics, animations) that reflects gender‑sensitive messaging.
• Ensure all materials align with EMPLOY project objectives and donor requirements.
• Coordinate remotely with project staff, local partners, and stakeholders across Greater Accra, Ahafo, Ashanti, Bono, Central, Eastern, and Western regions.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and quality control for all deliverables.
• Provide regular progress reports to the Project Director.

Required profile

• Proven experience in media production and communication for development or NGO projects.
• Demonstrated ability to create gender‑sensitive content.
• Experience working remotely and managing cross‑regional collaborations.
• Familiarity with the Ghanaian context and cultural considerations.
