About the role
Lapaz Community Hospital is seeking qualified Medical Doctors to join its clinical team in Accra. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, examinations, and investigations.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans and prescribe medications.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records in accordance with hospital policies.
- Participate in ward rounds, emergency care, and on‑call duties.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and interns.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, infection control, and ethical standards.
Required profile
- Hold an MB ChB or equivalent medical qualification.
- Registered with the Ghana Medical and Dental Council.
- Minimum of five years post‑qualification experience as a Medical Doctor.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a busy hospital environment.
