Music Professional

About the role

The Music Professional will join iNMusic Digital Distribution’s Greater Accra team to support independent artists and labels throughout the music creation, production, and release process. Working on‑site, you will collaborate with internal distribution and publishing teams while providing artistic guidance and education to talent across Ghana.

Key responsibilities

• Advise artists on music production quality, performance standards and artistic direction.
• Assist with release strategies, ensuring accurate metadata and timely delivery to streaming platforms.
• Coordinate with distribution and publishing teams to manage catalog uploads and royalty reporting.
• Review tracks and catalogs, offering constructive feedback on musical direction.
• Develop and deliver artist education initiatives such as workshops and training sessions.
• Identify emerging talent and support relationship management with key clients.
• Collaborate on promotional activities and catalog development projects.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in music and the music industry, with practical knowledge of digital distribution, rights management and publishing.
• Demonstrated music performance skills and ability to engage audiences.
• Hands‑on experience in music production, including basic recording, arrangement or studio workflows.
• Background or interest in music education, mentoring or training artists.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work with diverse artists and teams.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and comfort managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Familiarity with major streaming platforms, current music trends and data‑driven decision making.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Music, Audio Production, Arts Management or equivalent professional experience.
