National Director – Ghana

About the role

The National Director will lead the implementation of World Vision Ghana’s strategy, aligning with government priorities and the organization’s mission to improve child well‑being across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically guide the execution of the FY26‑30 Operations Strategy and ensure alignment with national and partnership goals.
• Lead national resource development, including local fundraising and partnership building with government, private sector, churches and donors.
• Oversee senior leadership team, succession planning, performance management and staff development.
• Ensure compliance with World Vision policies, financial stewardship, and high standards of accountability.
• Represent World Vision Ghana externally with donors, NGOs, faith‑based groups and government agencies.

Required profile

• Demonstrated senior leadership experience in a large, multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Strong Christian faith and ability to provide spiritual guidance to staff.
• Proven ability to manage complex budgets, resources and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with diverse partners.
