National Service Placement Programme 2026/2027

About the role

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) is offering a National Service Placement Programme for the 2026/2027 intake. This programme targets recent graduates from accredited universities or higher national diploma institutions in Ghana, providing hands‑on experience across a wide range of sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Support project teams in areas such as finance, administration, economics, statistics, social sciences, digital economy, renewable energy, communication, public relations, planning, gender, law, agriculture, IT development, land use planning, TVET, and education.
• Contribute to data collection, analysis, and reporting for monitoring and evaluation activities.
• Assist in the preparation of project documents, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues in Accra and Tamale offices.

Required profile

• Currently completing or having completed a university degree or Higher National Diploma by the end of the 2025/2026 academic year.
• Commitment to fulfill the mandatory National Service requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
