Office/Field Traceability Support Officer

About the role

The Traceability Support Officer will coordinate the implementation of traceability processes at field, port and back‑office levels for ECOM Agro‑industrial Corp. Ltd in Ghana. The role focuses on ensuring data consistency, regulatory compliance and efficient documentation across the cocoa supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Align registered farmers’ data on the SMSi system with society, community and Purchasing Clerk records on the Empower platform.
• Prepare, print and distribute Society Traceable Details Reports (STDR) across all program districts.
• Support GCTS and EUDR compliance by maintaining up‑to‑date documentation.
• Reconcile physical farmer transaction records with digital entries on a daily and weekly basis.
• Standardise documentation processes for farmer deliveries in certified districts.
• Verify datasets for premium payments and Digital Premium Payment (DPP) records.
• Back‑stop the Back‑office Traceability Officer, filling operational gaps as needed.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve traceability systems and data management practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in the cocoa industry with basic traceability knowledge.
• Strong IT proficiency, particularly with the MS Office suite.
