Onsite Merchandiser (Full Time)

About the role

As an Onsite Merchandiser you will be responsible for supervising the Jumia app and website, ensuring efficient e‑merchandising and a high‑quality user experience. You will maintain the platform daily, optimise product assortment, catalogue structure and navigation to drive conversion and usage.

Key responsibilities

• Own the front‑end of the app and website from start to finish.
• Plan and coordinate homepage and campaign content, including categories, brands and advertising.
• Create and continuously optimise category and campaign pages.
• Brief and collaborate with design teams to produce assets that follow brand guidelines.
• Execute back‑end changes for marketing and promotional campaigns.
• Optimise onsite placements daily based on KPI performance.
• Track key performance indicators, produce regular analytical reports and deliver insights to marketing, commercial and graphics teams.
• Suggest, implement and test new technical features using structured A/B testing.
• Stay up‑to‑date with e‑commerce trends and propose innovative ideas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or Engineering with a strong analytical orientation.
• Previous experience in the e‑commerce sector is highly advantageous.
• Highly organised, rigorous and detail‑oriented with excellent anticipation skills.
• Customer‑focused and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
