Operational BI Analyst

About the role

The Operational BI Analyst transforms complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision‑making across the organization. You will deliver accurate, timely, and visually compelling reports and dashboards while collaborating closely with business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver high‑impact reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Tableau or Oracle Analytics Server.
• Automate and optimise reporting processes to improve accuracy, relevance and timeliness.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for business improvement.
• Gather requirements from cross‑functional teams and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Provide data extracts and ongoing support to BI system users.
• Present findings through clear visualisations and professional communication.
• Contribute to project delivery by defining scope, managing timelines and ensuring successful closure.
• Support the Operational BI Specialist and continuously explore innovative analytical approaches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with business intelligence tools.
• Proven ability to work with large datasets and deliver actionable insights.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience presenting to business audiences.
• Experience in the telecom industry or familiarity with telecom revenue models is a strong advantage.
