Operations Project Manager

About the role

The Operations Project Manager will lead the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team responsible for energy and telecom infrastructure across Accra and the Tema region. You will ensure network availability, drive performance improvements, and support business goals while maintaining budgetary discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Direct technical teams and enforce fault‑management processes.
• Resolve conflicts, escalations and manage real‑time operations, including shift planning and resource allocation.
• Track and analyse fuel and electricity consumption, working with the Fuel & Fleet Director to reduce losses.
• Prepare accurate daily, weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Support budget construction, presales, RFQ analysis and contract review.
• Promote environmental practices such as waste management and oil recycling.
• Continuously optimise departmental processes to meet SLAs and service‑quality targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Power or related field).
• Minimum 10 years of telecom experience, including 5 years as an O&M manager.
• Strong leadership, customer‑focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Proven track record in performance management, cross‑functional collaboration and cost optimisation.
