Operations Support Manager – Retail

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Support Manager to lead and optimise retail pharmacy operations across our branches in Accra. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, supporting branch teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence across all retail locations.
• Coach, train and develop branch teams to improve performance.
• Monitor merchandising, pricing, stock control and profitability.
• Partner with HR on recruitment, retention and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality and professional standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organisation.
• Support branch managers in achieving operational and commercial targets.

Required profile

• BSc in Pharmacy with at least 5 years of experience in retail pharmacy operations or as a Pharmacy Manager.
• Proven track record of leading high‑performing teams.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, stock control, compliance and customer service.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
