Outer District Distribution Sales Specialist

About the role

The Outer District Distribution Sales Specialist will oversee distributor operations, lead a CRM sales team, and drive market development within the assigned territory in Ghana. The role requires close interaction with retail partners, data‑driven performance improvement, and swift issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage distributors comprehensively, including customer operations, team leadership, vehicle and inventory oversight, and financial control.
• Build and supervise a CRM sales representative team, ensuring effective use of the CRM system and conducting data analysis to boost sales performance.
• Conduct regular market visits, assess retail outlets, analyze competitive positioning, and develop strategies based on findings.
• Assist in handling unexpected operational challenges and resolve issues as they arise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 1 year experience in Ghana’s FMCG distribution channels and customer management.
• Experience managing a team of 3–5 people in a recognized FMCG company.
• Familiarity with key‑account retail chains in Accra such as Melcom and China Mall, with relevant work experience.
• Graduate of one of Ghana’s top three universities.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel short‑term to markets outside the assigned area and to work from the customer’s business location when required.
