Part-time Ethical Auditor (CSCA certified)

About the role

QIMA is seeking a part‑time Ethical Auditor to conduct on‑site assessments of supplier factories across Ghana. You will work independently to verify compliance with labour, health, safety and environmental standards, ensuring our clients receive trustworthy audit reports.

Key responsibilities

• Perform unannounced audits of manufacturing sites, focusing on labour rights, health & safety, environmental security and other applicable standards.
• Identify and document any violations, maintaining detailed, objective reports for client delivery.
• Maintain the highest level of integrity during audits, recognizing the impact on suppliers, factory staff and client relationships.
• Participate in client meetings to help design custom quality‑control procedures.
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement of operational audit projects.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, Social Sciences or a related field.
• APSCA registration at CSCA level (mandatory).
• Proven experience in third‑party auditing, preferably with agricultural or mixed‑audit exposure.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of SA8000, ISO14001, ICTI, C‑TPAT, WRAP, BSCI and SMETA standards.
• Ability to produce clear, evidence‑based audit reports.
• Experience conducting factory and agricultural audits.
