Part‑time English Second Language Tutor (Hybrid)

About the role

Grin Hub is seeking a part‑time English Second Language (ESL) Tutor to join its learning academy in Nsawam. The role combines in‑person classroom sessions with approved work‑from‑home activities, allowing you to engage learners both on site and online.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons covering speaking, listening, reading and writing.
• Conduct individual and small‑group tutoring sessions, including virtual classes.
• Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate attendance and performance records.
• Collaborate with fellow tutors and staff to continuously improve teaching methods.
• Support learners preparing for exams such as BECE, WASSCE, IELTS, Cambridge, etc.

Required profile

• Strong instructional skills in English and experience teaching English as a foreign language.
• Proven experience tutoring or teaching in classroom or small‑group settings.
• Excellent spoken and written English with clear, supportive communication.
• Relevant teaching certification (NTC, TEFL/TESL) is highly beneficial.
• Ability to plan lessons, manage time and adapt methods to diverse learner needs.

• Effective use of online tutoring platforms and basic educational technology.
