Part‑Time Twi & Creative Arts Teacher (Two Separate Roles)

About the role

SM Recruitment and Consult is seeking two part‑time teachers for a basic school in Adenta: one to teach Twi language and another to lead Creative Arts classes. Both positions are on‑site and focus on delivering engaging, age‑appropriate lessons that inspire learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Twi language or Creative Arts lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Develop teaching aids, visual materials and practical art projects such as drawing and painting.
• Assess student progress through classwork, assignments, projects and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with school leadership and fellow teachers to ensure curriculum alignment.
• Participate in staff meetings, school events and maintain an inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student performance and encourage interest in Twi or artistic expression.

Required profile

• Strong lesson‑planning and curriculum‑development abilities.
• Effective classroom‑management skills and the capacity to adapt instruction to diverse learning styles.
• Art education or painting expertise for the Creative Arts role.
• Relevant teaching certification or at least a diploma in Education, Languages, or Creative Arts.
• Fluency in Twi and solid written and spoken English.
• Experience teaching at the basic school level and familiarity with Ghanaian educational standards is a plus.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, child‑friendly learning environment.
