About the role
Our client is the leading pharmaceutical company in Ghana. The company now seeks a hands‑on Pharmacist to ensure that medications and other health‑related products dispensed to customers are suitable and appropriate.
Key responsibilities
- Dispense pharmaceutical and medical products as prescribed by doctors to customers.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and suitability for the patient.
- Provide information and advice on drugs, side effects, dosage and storage.
- Assist customers by interpreting symptoms, offering immediate treatment or referring to a physician.
- Monitor customers’ drug therapies to avoid interactions and resolve therapeutic incompatibilities.
- Advise management on essential product items to stock across pharmacological classes.
Required profile
- Bachelor degree in Pharmacy, Pharm D or M Pharm.
- Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana with a valid practising licence.
- Minimum three years’ experience in a similar pharmacy role.
