Pharmacy Manager

About the role

The Pharmacy Manager will lead the daily operations of a pharmacy, ensuring efficient service delivery, compliance with regulations, and strong financial performance. This role requires a proactive leader who can motivate staff, maintain high customer service standards, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all pharmacy operations, including staff scheduling, performance management, and workplace discipline.
• Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve any client concerns.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock management, and liaise with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate administrative records, prepare periodic reports, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Control operational expenses and support cost‑saving initiatives.
• Implement systems and processes to improve efficiency and overall business performance.
• Foster a positive, professional, and productive work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or retail environment is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
