About the role
The Pharmacy Technologist will support the delivery of pharmaceutical care at Sanford World Clinics locations in Adenta and Mankessim. Working under the supervision of a pharmacist, the role ensures accurate preparation of outpatient prescriptions and helps maintain high standards of medication safety.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in preparing patient prescriptions for outpatient services.
- Provide technical functions associated with the delivery of pharmaceutical care in line with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Temporarily take charge of pharmaceutical services when the pharmacist is absent.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Required profile
- HND in dispensing technology, a Diploma in pharmacy technology, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least one year of national service experience in a recognized health facility.
- Ability to work in a community clinic setting and follow established guidelines.
