About the role
Help evaluate how AI systems solve real scientific problems by turning physics, chemistry, materials science or related research workflows into challenging, reproducible tasks that an AI agent must complete in a Linux terminal.
Key responsibilities
- Design multi‑step scientific modeling, simulation or quantitative analysis tasks for AI agents.
- Build self‑contained environments, prepare inputs and create automated tests to ensure accurate, reproducible results.
- Debug calculations, manage dependencies and document units, assumptions, numerical tolerances and scientific limitations.
Required profile
- PhD, postdoctoral experience or equivalent advanced technical experience in a physical‑science discipline.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, Julia, Bash or another scientific language, with experience working in Linux/terminal environments.
- Proven ability to independently create and validate scientific workflows, understanding numerical precision and reproducibility.
