Plant Day Supervisor – Goldroom & Gravity Plant Services

About the role

The Plant Day Supervisor will oversee goldroom and gravity plant services, ensuring bullion production and safe dispatch. The role requires close coordination with shift teams to follow elution schedules and maintain high operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental procedures for the goldroom and gravity circuits.
• Manage bullion security, record keeping, and reagent inventory for critical consumables.
• Develop and review SOPs, liaise with maintenance to address equipment issues, and support weekly/monthly production strategies.
• Supervise the in‑plant reagent staging area and assist with major housekeeping and plant “bushfire” incidents.

Required profile

• BSc/Diploma in Metallurgical, Chemical, Materials, Mechanical Engineering or secondary school/A‑level with 5 years supervisory experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a recognized process plant, including at least 2 years in goldroom operations and cyanide handling.
