Plant Manager

About the role

The Plant Manager will lead the plant’s safety, quality, environmental and operational performance. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure the delivery of high‑quality, cost‑competitive products while maintaining reliable plant equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sustain a safety, quality and environmental improvement culture with zero TF1 & TF2 rates.
• Implement hazard and risk controls at all workstations.
• Apply EMA and Saint‑Gobain Group environmental standards to reduce pollution.
• Drive operational excellence using World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodology.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through delivery of products that meet specifications.
• Manage on‑line and off‑line quality control processes.
• Oversee manpower utilization, payroll cost management and asset reliability.
• Create supply plans to guarantee material availability.
• Monitor and achieve process performance KPIs.
• Coordinate plant projects to meet budget and timeline targets.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, mining or similar operations at middle to senior management level.
• Strong knowledge of safety, environmental and quality systems.
• Experience with proactive management tools such as WCM.
• Project management, budgeting and financial understanding.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and people‑development skills.
• Background in heavy engineering or large‑scale manufacturing.
