Product Manager – Restaurant Management SaaS (Remote)

About the role

BagginsHQ is looking for an experienced Product Manager to own the commercial growth of Baggins Foody, a cloud‑based restaurant management and POS platform, in Ghana. This individual contributor role is fully remote and focuses on acquiring paying restaurant customers and driving subscription revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and acquire restaurants, cafés, food trucks and bars that need a modern management solution.
• Develop and execute market‑specific growth and customer‑acquisition strategies.
• Present and demonstrate the platform’s POS, Kitchen Display System, table management, menu engineering, inventory, online ordering and financial reporting features.
• Convert free‑trial users into paying subscribers and manage the full sales pipeline without a supporting sales team.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, demonstrations and verified revenue.
• Monitor subscription revenue, retention and churn, and report performance against targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in restaurant management, hospitality operations or restaurant technology.
• Strong commercial initiative and a professional network within the food‑service sector.
• Ability to communicate effectively with owners, general managers and operations decision‑makers.
• Track record of achieving SaaS subscription revenue targets.

Required skills

• Knowledge of restaurant POS systems and Kitchen Display Systems (KDS).
• Familiarity with inventory management, menu engineering and online ordering platforms.
• Experience with restaurant ERP or similar subscription‑based software.
