Product Senior Specialist - Competitor & Market Intelligence

About the role

The Product Senior Specialist will lead the collection, organization, and analysis of competitor and market data for a fintech operating in Ghana. This role supports headquarters with high‑quality insights that drive product strategy and commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a comprehensive competitor data monitoring system covering pricing, credit limits, tenors, fee structures and product features, ensuring 100% accuracy.
• Produce monthly competitor trend analysis reports with at least one actionable insight for business decisions.
• Track fintech policies and market developments in Ghana and the region, delivering thematic research reports on regulations, payment gateways and digital lending.
• Deliver reporting requests on schedule and align market insights with local product roadmaps and commercial implementation plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Data Analytics or related field with minimum 3 years of product or market research experience in fintech, digital lending or consumer finance.
• Strong data acumen and competitor research capabilities, with experience building tracking frameworks and extracting strategic insights from large datasets.
• Familiarity with Ghana’s financial ecosystem, including BoG regulations, CRB systems, payment gateway interfaces and KYC workflows.
• Excellent cross‑cultural communication and remote collaboration skills to work with headquarters and regional teams.
