Production Manager

About the role

Our client seeks a Production Manager to lead and restructure the manufacturing function, covering production planning, output, cost, people, capacity, and continuous improvement. The role involves building a scalable manufacturing environment that ensures safe, consistent production meeting approved formulas and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop weekly/monthly production plans based on sales demand, inventory, and capacity.
• Own production output, efficiency, yield, waste, and manufacturing cost.
• Monitor performance against plan and lead corrective and continuous‑improvement actions.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Production Supervisor, specialists, and production employees.
• Ensure production SOPs and formulas are followed, and batch records are accurate.
• Work closely with QA on quality/hygiene compliance and deviation escalation.
• Coordinate equipment use and maintenance needs with Operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Operations, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant manufacturing experience, including team leadership.
• Experience in cosmetics, personal care, FMCG, food, or pharmaceuticals preferred.
