Professor – Engineering Faculty

About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) seeks a distinguished academic to join its Faculty of Engineering as a Professor. The position is open to candidates in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics & Statistics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
• Supervise student research projects and theses.
• Conduct scholarly research and publish in recognized journals.
• Engage in community service and professional outreach.
• Contribute to faculty development and university governance.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or mathematical discipline.
• Current appointment as Professor at a recognized university, or at least three years as Associate Professor with a minimum of fifteen peer‑reviewed publications.
• Demonstrated record of teaching excellence and research leadership.
• Three professional referees who can attest to academic credentials.
