Professor – Faculty of Engineering

About the role

The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) seeks a senior academic leader to join its Faculty of Engineering as a Professor. The appointment will support teaching, research, and community service across multiple engineering disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures and seminars.
• Supervise graduate students and guide research projects.
• Develop and lead scholarly research programmes and secure external funding.
• Contribute to curriculum design, departmental governance, and faculty development.
• Engage in community outreach and professional service activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in a relevant engineering, telecommunications, computer science, or mathematics/statistics field.
• Current appointment as Professor at a recognized university, or at least three (3) years as Associate Professor.
• Minimum fifteen (15) peer‑reviewed journal publications.
• Evidence of scholarly impact and professional standing, including three referees.
