Program Associate, Strategic Impact Evaluation and Learning

About the role

The Program Associate, Strategic Impact Evaluation and Learning (SIEL) supports a six‑year learning partnership between the UK FCDO, IPA and J‑PAL. The role assists the Program Lead in managing grants, developing projects and communicating across four strategic priority areas: growth, humanitarian assistance, climate and nature, and conflict and fragility.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the competitive funding process: draft calls, manage proposals, oversee review and grant agreement development.
• Track grant and project status, maintain detailed Salesforce records and ensure compliance with donor reporting requirements.
• Support project development by conducting outreach, liaising with FCDO teams, IPA internal units and J‑PAL country offices, and assisting in proposal preparation.
• Assist in research uptake and dissemination activities, update IPA website with project summaries and help prepare event materials.
• Provide administrative support for financial monitoring and contribute to IPA’s diversity, equity and inclusion tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, political science, public policy or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project or research management, research fund administration or research dissemination.
• Demonstrated project‑management abilities with strong attention to operational detail.
