Programs Manager – Development & Agriculture

About the role

The Programs Manager will join Farm Radio International’s Ghana team to provide technical leadership across all program activities. Reporting to the Country Director, the role ensures effective monitoring, evaluation, reporting and coordination with partner radio stations and development stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in programme development, draft concept papers and coordinate proposal writing.
• Oversee preparation of monthly, semi‑annual and annual reports, surveys, workshops and technical documents in line with donor requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with partner radio stations, community groups, district authorities, ministries and NGOs.
• Facilitate project planning, implementation and review meetings with all stakeholders.
• Design and implement monitoring and evaluation tools aligned with the organisation’s M&E system.
• Manage data collection, reporting, and information management systems.
• Lead the design, development and maintenance of the organisation’s Information Management System.
• Organise regular review meetings to track progress of Farm Radio programmes.
• Contribute to the creation of IEC materials, brochures and other publications.
• Support capacity building in fundraising, project planning, monitoring and evaluation.

Required profile

• University degree (Master’s preferred) in Development Studies, Agriculture Communication, Project Management or related field.
• Experience in integrated development issues, agriculture value‑chain analysis and the role of radio in extension.
• Demonstrated expertise in planning, monitoring, evaluating programmes and managing multiple projects.
• Strong networking experience with development partners at national and international levels.
• Understanding of radio and ICTs for agricultural extension.
• Proven project management skills at senior levels.
