Project Coordinator – Sexual & Reproductive Health Project

About the role

The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG), in partnership with the Japanese Organisation for International Co‑operation in Family Planning (JOICFP) and the Ghana Health Service, seeks a results‑oriented Project Coordinator to lead a two‑year sexual and reproductive health initiative in Kotoso, Kwahu East.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and ensure implementation of all project activities.
• Establish and maintain contact with district stakeholders and identify local SRH needs.
• Compile monthly, quarterly and annual reports, and submit financial returns on schedule.
• Maintain inventory of project assets and ensure efficient use of funds.
• Oversee training of community volunteers such as Peer Educators and CBS Agents.
• Supervise project staff, appraise performance and support work‑plan development.
• Assist in the preparation of Zonal APB and quarterly forecasts.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Middle Zonal Manager.

Required profile

• First degree in Sciences, Social Sciences or Psychology with at least five years of relevant experience; a second degree is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of reproductive and sexual health issues.
• High sense of responsibility, accuracy, judgment and ability to work under pressure.
• Proactive, innovative, goal‑oriented and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills and youth‑friendly attitude.
• Willingness to travel on short notice.
