Project Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer to lead multi‑phase social housing developments in Accra and Tema, overseeing planning, execution and quality control. The role involves coordinating on‑site construction activities and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define engineering scope, project milestones and resource requirements for large residential projects.
• Monitor daily construction activities on‑site, enforce quality assurance and HSE protocols, and conduct technical inspections.
• Serve as the main technical liaison between sub‑contractors, foremen, quantity surveyors and senior management, reviewing progress and signing off milestones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or a related discipline.
• Registered member in good standing with the Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE).
• Minimum of 5 years hands‑on experience in civil engineering and construction supervision of large‑scale residential or social housing projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D.
• Experience using MS Project for scheduling.
• Experience using Primavera for project planning.
